Hole In One Winner Rob Mory Takes Home a New 2008 Chrysler Aspen from Landmark
Avid golfers will tell you that a hole in one is a combination of both skill and luck. It’s what every one of them intends to do each time they tee up at a par 3 hole however it is a very rare and exhilarating experience.
The steel blue 2008 Chrysler Aspen from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Morrow was sitting next to the tee at the 191-yard, par 3, 16th hole of Atlanta Country Club’s 2007 Member Guest Invitational Tournament. I asked Rob Mory what went through his head between the time he hit his shot and the ball went in the hole. Rob said, “The ball looked good in the air… straight at the green… it wasn’t until the ball landed on the green and started rolling for the pin that my friends all started yelling that it was going in the hole. At that point I started to get really excited.”
Rob must be a pretty low handicap because he wasn’t shy about mentioning that this was his 3rd hole in one… something most golfers spend their entire life trying for and never achieve. Rob admits, “winning the Chrysler Aspen with this one made it both the most exciting and most rewarding.”
He says he love his new SUV and is quick to tell you it’s loaded with leather and every conceivable option including navigation. When Rob isn’t playing golf he works as a financial advisor for Smith Barney.
He and his wife love the outdoors and plan to take their new Aspen on trips to the north Georgia mountains and Savannah, their favorite vacation spots. They get to play a lot because they are pretty much empty nesters with one 18 year-old son attending Ole Miss. Rob keeps the satellite radio in his new Aspen tuned to classic rock and says the best advise he can give anyone is “Do the Right Thing… you’ll be glad you did in the long run.”
Everyone at Landmark wishes Rob happy trails in his new Aspen and congratulations for his unbelievable achievement. May your ball keep rolling for the hole and your New Chrysler Aspen keep rolling for the hills.
